Ajay Devgn’s super ambitious film Tanhaji has got the cash registers ringing at the box office. 2020’s first big release, the movie has not just got public appreciation, but also critical acclaim. IN AN EXCLUSIVE CHAT WITH BOLLYWOOD WRAP, Actor VIPUL GUPTA, who has been winning rave reviews for his portrayal of Jagat Singh in the film, tells us about why Tanhaji is special for him and what 2020 has in store for him.

Q – How do you feel with Tanhaji and your role in the movie being appreciated ?
A – It is one of the most challenging roles in my career. Being one of the crucial characters in the movie, I had a lot of responsibility on me. But I am thankful to everyone for giving so much love to Jagat Singh.

Q – How was the experience of working with great actors like Ajay Devgun and Saif Ali Khan ?
A – Oh these people are an inspiration and institution. Their dedication towards our craft is so inspiring. Working with them one can learn so much. Like I realised that there is no substitute for hard work and it’s only hard work that wins.

Q – From romance to thriller to historical, you have done it all. Which is your favourite genre ?
A – for me, all the genre are equally challenging. Being an actor I enjoy all of them. But of course I have a thing for action and thriller.

Q. – What next now ?
A – I have a big project coming up super soon with one of India’s biggest directors and my favourite one too. Its another great role.
