Anisha Victor is an actor popularly known for her works in 2017-film The House Next Door and web series RejectX streaming on Zee5. She also worked in Ultra Shorts web series What’s your status and Zee5 Original film Line of Descent. Anisha Victor is one of the most talented young actors of present times where we believe she is yet to deliver so many of her great performances, provided the opportunity comes. BollywoodWrap : Tell us something about your background?
Anisha Victor : I was born in Allahabad and have grown up in places like Dehradun, Jammu, Siliguri, Bareilly, Gangtok, Jodhpur, Delhi, etc, My Father is Col. G, Victor and my mother Anita is a housewife.
I have two younger sisters. I moved to Delhi from Jammu for my college. I graduated from St. Stephens College and moved to Mumbai.
BollywoodWrap : How did modeling happen?
Anisha Victor : I always wanted to be an actor and to get too big projects I had to first set foot in the movie world and I started doing advertising. I have done commercials for Fastrack, Cadbury, Sunsilk, Maruti, etc.
BollywoodWrap : You started with Tamil films. How was the experience?
Anisha Victor : It was fantastic working in Tamil cinema. People are really humble, sweet, and forgiving. Everyone is dedicated to their work no matter what job they do on set.
BollywoodWrap: Between Tamil films and web series, which is more creative?
Anisha Victor : I feel a movie always has the liberty to be more creative than a web series. Budgets are bigger, there is time to spare for few extra takes, and for an actor or director, they get their scene exactly or close to what they have imagined in their head.
BollywoodWrap : What is your style mantra?
Anisha Victor : Comfort is always paramount when I dress. Baggy jeans and a loose shirt, or a skirt or a frock would be my go-to if it was upto me.
BollywoodWrap: How do you care for skin and hair?
Anisha Victor : I try to eat healthy and get some sort of exercise and let the sweat glands do its job. That’s what keeps my skin clean from within. I do take vitamin- E supplements as well.
BollywoodWrap : Your Favorite role so far ??
Anisha Victor : Jenny from House next door 2017 movie.
BollywoodWrap : Directors you want to work with ?
Anisha Victor : Anurag Kashyap, Konkona sen, Nandita Das, Shakun Batra, Greta Gertwig, Sophia Coppola.
BollywoodWrap : What is your dream role ?
Anisha Victor : A period drama, espionage, or an athlete in a film.
BollywoodWrap : How did you prepare yourself for the house next door and how was your experience?
Anisha Victor : I used to rehearse with the DA and director and watched a lot of movies for reference.
BollywoodWrap : What are your favorite movies?
Anisha Victor : Interstellar, Arrival- I love space movies. Then- Roma, Taxi Driver, Blue Jasmine, Fargo.
BollywoodWrap : How was the experience of Reject X?
Anisha Victor : It was really good. It’s always good to be back in Thailand. But this time there was a little hiccup because of COVID 19 but we all got back safely.
BollywoodWrap : Which is your favorite genre? Rom-com, thriller, suspense, or horror?
Anisha Victor : Space and time Movies /Sci-fi but also a good Drama
BollywoodWrap : Any tip for aspiring actors ?
Anisha Victor : Well, I think of myself as aspiring too. But all I can say is – Go for it.
